Synopsis |
In this chilling sequel to London Falling, Detective Inspector James Quill and his squad of supernatural crimebusters are coming to terms with their newfound second sight. They have a handle on the ghosts and ghouls, but the rest of London's supernatural underworld is still unknown.
When a seemingly invisible murderer kills a top cabinet minister, the team knows this is a case for them. A second murder, that of the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, presents a crime scene with a message ... identical to that left by Jack the Ripper. This new Ripper, however, seems to have changed the MO of the old completely; he's only killing rich white men. The squad's investigation into what could be behind this supernatural menace takes Quill and his team from the corridors of power at Whitehall, to meetings with MI5, and deeper into the occult underworld of London.
Meanwhile the Ripper's body count continues to rise as it sets its eyes on a new target ... Quill.
